The Panoz Esperante GTR-1 is a locked vehicle that can be earned by earning 8000 points as a Professional Ranking. It is not playable or earned through Amateur Ranking.
Overview
The Panoz GTR-1 is a by far the fastest vehicle in Midtown Madness, with a top speed of 220 mph, and a horsepower of 650 bhp. It can be unlocked by gaining 8000 points, but it is only possible on Professional mode. The vehicle accelerates like nitro and corners very well, but durablity is not so good, so you must watch out for traffic and obstacles. Also, it gets stopped cold when it goes off-road 9 out of 10 times, making it almost impossible to go off-road with it, unless you use a ramp, an alleyway, or something else. It has a mass of 966 kg. It comes with four colours: white (referred to as "racing decals" in the game), purple, red and yellow (stock paint).
